More BMW 335i F30 M Performance exhaust videos - drive-by and revving
![]() Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Also I do not know if this has been discussed but if you have it in park, rev it and lift throttle, there is a much more aggressive burble and pop sound in the sport and sport + mode, which is really enhanced with the m exhaust . And here's another random one off youtube: |

Stock one definitely sounds deeper. M-Performance is raspier. I will probably stick with stock on mine or wait for an Akrapovic. Also, that's the blurriest 720p I've ever seen! Awesome 335i though!

I just wish the stock at idle was louder. Kind of like how V8's sound at idle

i'm just curious as to why my 335 with technically the same motor sounds so much deeper and aggressive with the PE.....a little dissappointing

All the BMW performance exhausts lean towards the quiet end of the spectrum. They try and have the system gain volume as the revs increase versus many of the louder aftermarket exhausts that are very loud at cold start and can drone. They are just focusing on a different demographic. I just drove with a client who had a dinan exhaust on his M3 and I almost thought it was stock. The E92 335 bmw performance exhaust sounds sweet but is nowhere near what other aftermarket systems sound like

Please please someone explain this to me: Why would this PE sound any different than the E92 335i one?
It's the same engine === same exhaust note! |

If you put an Eisenmann Race exhaust and an Akra titanium exhaust on an M3 it will sound very different even though the engine is the same. This M Performance exhaust is different to the one that was available on the E90 so of course it sounds different.

I know but it means they just came up with a different exhaust for the same engine.
I do find it weird that BMW and Meisterschaft are changing their exhaust systems just because the car model is not the same anymore. It's kind of like they're messing with us and raising the prices for nothing more than they could offer with the E9X series... To me: Same engine = every aftermarket manufacturer (or BMW for that matter) should keep the same setup... |
