From what I understand the bumpers are beginning to be available, but not all the parts. Its not just the simple bumper that needs to be installed, but all the air ducts etc. Check on the forums here and some tuner shops are beginning to get them in.

The only item we can't get from our parts source are 3 ducts. The 3 ducts in question or not in stock in Germany which means they are currently in production. Unfortunately, when items are at this status level it is near impossible to get a accurate ETA. Regardless, we have list pricing for all parts.

Honestly looking at it from a manufacturers standpoint, they really dont give a crap if you go and retrofit your front bumper to what ever one you want. As long as you buy that car and sign your name on that dotted line for a purchase/lease after that its all over.

It is all going to have common fastners and mounting points. BMW will not add extra complexity of changing sheet metal and or studs because they sit in a lab somewhere and ponder HMMM I wonder if Joe Shmoe somewhere out there will want the M sport bumper on his non m sport pacakage, DAMN lets prevent that and waste valuable manpower, time and money so they have to spend and extra 3500 on the m sport package.

How many people are really going to retrofit? Lets just say 100. They arent going to waste their time on such things and say lets prevent those 100 from doing so. They would be more worried about you retuning your car then anything else....

I have worked for Ford for 12 years and we try to commonise as many parts with every line as possible. Its cheaper and more efficient for assembly purposes. BMW is going to be no different in this standpoint, its all about cost savings, efficiency and maximum profit. Yes there will be different ducts, and routing of some wires, but 98% will look identical.

We got nearly all our M Sport parts in yesterday They forgot to order us the headlight washer covers for our model though with the bumper assembly

I have pricing for everything we orderd in, but i want to leave the final checklist to when we install it on our F30 here to make sure no small things need to be changed, or may be optional to change or not change.

I figured you needed new headlamp washer covers. Different shape. Damn more crap to paint.

So you were able to obtain all the ducts? Even the 3 mistery ducts? How much for the whole setup without paint of course? I'll mount everything myself.

I'm having everything painted next week then will install it all to make sure ove got all the pieces. The last 3 duct parts i needed should be in here the next few days.
