Passenger restraint malfunction intermittently. Otherwise nothing. Flawless. Best BMW I've ever had out of 5 3 series models.

1. The wiper are malfunctioning. Can't stop the wiper running after press washing clean glass button. U have to stop the car, then turn off all, go out and clock the car and unlock again, it will be stop. bullshit !
2. Can't get it back to down position. 3. Auto function can't stop even sunny. Last edited by sgbk; 08-15-2012 at 04:02 AM. Reason: info |

Are you serious? There are way to many haters on here. This car is fabuloso people! Not a single problem @ 2700miles. Quick as Fu**!! its like BEAST MODE!! Waaaay better on every level than my g35 coupe. Quicker faster better!!! Stop complaining about the small stuff. This is the best car bar none for normal people. Good gas mileage, nice looks and super quick, who could ask for anything more.....

My car must've had the Monday morning blues this week... when I got in Monday morning, all memory settings were forgotten: seats, pre-set buttons, unlocking of all passenger doors when the car switches off, etc. It was like the car had reset itself to its default.
![]() Was in a rush to get to work so I just adjusted my seat and drove to the office, meaning to get in touch with BMW later. When I started it up in the evening, everything was back to normal - both memory seats, pre-set buttons, etc were as they ordinarily are. Problem hasn't recurred & hopefully it'll stay that way. It was like the car lost its mind cos of Monday blues...makes it seem a little human.

I live in California and it is pretty bright in the morning, but I still have the night time running light in the morning... Do you think we should take it to the dealership or Are we being a little sensitive? I my old Honda and Acura's were fine with those... And the CD player can drive me crazy too. It doesn't read some of the mp3 files!

The auto lights come on in very bright light to make the car more visible. My 2006 E90 did it and my 2012 E91 does it. It's a safety feature.
Also, after buying a used first model year BMW and reading the E90 issues in the first year, I would run away from a first year model. Same goes for mini and really anyone. Especially with the complicated tech. Also, it should give them time to correct the overboosted steering. And hitting sport every time one gets in isn't okay.

The REAL fix would be having an automatic stop/start system that works smoothly without having any fear of the engine stalling. That's one update I'll be looking forward to. Whether it ever will happen is another matter. ![]() |

My dealer (UK) advised me there is no fix yet. Apparently BMW aware & there will be a software update soon. Apart from that. This car (335i) is a joy to drive. UPDATE - software fix now available I,m informed. |

Wiper relay fauly.
My 2 months F30 has experienced faulty wiper relay. This cause my wiper to wipe non stop. So i have took out the wiper. BMW said they need 2 weeks to ship over the relay from German as it is coded with chassis no. Is that true? Why does it takes that long since its an emergency? Dont they stock here in Malaysia and allow it to be coded here? This has cause inconvenience to me. BMW Munich, please look into this as i have emailed to you, BMW Malaysia and the dealer Quill Automobile.

I was at the dealer looking at the M Sport just the other day and pointed that same issue out to the salesman. It was very obviously loose but I am sure it's an easy fix.

Gearlever rattles - stops when you lightly press the top of the lever. Should be easy enough to sort.
Boot tends to bounce open if you don't shut it with a smooth motion. Probably just an adjustment of the stopper things. Pretty minor really, and I'll take it in to get them sorted soon, together with any other snagst that come up.
