My F30 was built at the end of April 2012.

My FEM_BODY is 020_029

My REM is 018_028

First, thanks for all the good stuff everyone has done and documented in these threads!

I finally got my car re-delivered a week ago and tried some coding this weekend. Initially I could not connect so removed & re-installed the SW and psdzdata and it connected OK.

I started with some simple things in one CAFD - removed the idrive disclaimers, enabled pressure & temp display for TPMS and enabled weatherband radio. TPMS showed only dashes last night but was working as of this morning.

I have a late April build too, will have to check mine tonight for FEM_BODY version.

I just used the updated data in the links that RASHID007 provided and my problem with the fem_body files being missing are resolved. Thanks for all the help!

On a side note, I'm not sure if I'm missing something but is there a way to code things so that tapping the engine stop button while the engine is running stops everything instead of going into radio mode? It's a little annoying to have to tap twice so that the radio isn't blasting when I get out of the car.

For those of you that coded ASS to remember the last setting, does it normally reset to on if you hangs driving modes? For example I'm driving in Eco pro with ASS off and I turn off the car. When I come back it starts up in comfort mode with ASS off but if I change back to Eco pro it turns in again. Does it normally work this way? I don't think I've driven with it off and switched driving modes before I tried the coding.

Yeah.. In stock when you go from comfort to ecopro the ASS automatically starts up again.. Same after its coded..

I coded the Sport Display and it now appears in the idrive display but it's non functional. Anybody?

Also the tyre pressure thing doesn't show any figs on my uk spec 320ed.
Perhaps I don't have the right sensors.!

Do you have TPMS (Reifen Druck Control, aka RDC ) or FTMS (Reifen Pannen Anzeige, aka RPA)? If your valve stems are rubber and not metal, you have FTMS, which operates on tire rotaional speed and has no actual sensors to measure pressure and temperature.

Ah that explains it as my tyre valves are rubber. Suppose I'll have to be happy with the basic tpms.

I'm now confused about the software versions. I've already downloaded E-Sys version 3.18.4 referanced in the OP and connected to the car but have not yet coded anything. Do I now need to uninstall all and reinstall a later version?

They are talking about the data/configuration file versions. Those are separate from the program version.

Yes I tried it for a couple of days but nothing and as I do have the rubber valves mine doesn't have the necessary sensors. Will just have to stick with the basic tyre pressure monitor.
As far as the sports display I tried that too for a couple of days but nothing do changed back now.

Plus side I am loving my rear DRLs
