I don't mean to cause you turmoil haha. I only have the 48.2 data right now unfortunately. I will try doing a clean install and rar extraction and such and see what happens...

I can confirm that 12-11-504 does work with 48.1. I didn't realize that I was on 12-11-504 until I checked the integration level today.

I tried to code hrosenberg33's MY2013 today which had 12-11-505 and it actually allowed me to modify and save his VO but when I try to code an ECU, that's when it errors out.

Theoretically, if he goes to a dealership and just make up something to say there's a problem with his CIC Head unit, I have a feeling he will have the extended Bluetooth and iPhone support once they do a software update and code it.

Does anyone know how trip import/export works for the Nav? I read earlier that someone here was able to enable that feature. Do you have to have BMW Assist? Also I enabled BMW Online and BMW Internet on HU_CIC and it didn't enable any extra options. I know I probably have to play with the VO to really do something but would leaving these settings enabled do any harm to the head unit/computer?

Google Maps is a better and more efficient tool to generate routes than the BMW Navigation System

. You have the flexibility to change routes as you wish and select specific roads from point A to point B. The attached manual (and program) describes how you can generate trip files that can be imported into your BMW Nav system

. This is possible thanks to the great programing work of our fellow fester, Aussie40d, from the E70 forum. Enjoy.

Ok. If that does not work, I think you should try 48.1 PSdZData.

That would be BMW Apps (6NR), can be program/retrofitted, the coding part is simple, but in addition require an expensive FSC code (think of it as license) ~ last I heard about US$200? Bimmertech seems to sell the code itself for Euro159...

If you don't need to control the station, I believe you can still download BMW Connected from Appstore, select the station to play ON YOUR PHONE, and stream the music through bluetooth, functionality is the same you just CANNOT CONTROL it from your idrive

It should THEORETICALLY work on Pandora & Aupeo, you just lose the "control via idrive", since all sound can be stream via bluetooth, including YouTube (tested & confirmed

So i bought the patch and replaced the .jar files and E-sys crashes when i try to launch it. When i put back the original files it runs.

Anyone have any idea what could be going wrong?

The Patch is E-Sys Version Specific.

What version on E-Sys did you order the patch for, and what version of E-Sys did you apply the patch to that is now crashing?

I have e-sys 3.22.5 and the read me file says its been tested on 3.22.5

Well, if you renamed, and replaced the two .jar files, it should work.

You did rename them to remove PATCHED from the name?
