There is nothing to prevent you from sharing the patch / token, although Akiss invested much time in developing it, and deserves to be compensated for his work. What he is charging for it is certainly reasonably, especially to one who can afford a Fxx BMW.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I wasn't aware of the background, and if it's been developed by him. I thought it's somehow coming from BMW.

I appreciate Akiss and his development effort and would get a token from him.

I was looking at Ilhan1103's spreadsheet and he has this listed as turning on the SPORT+ mode. I also seem some things in there called "lastfnceco" and it makes me wonder if this has anything to do with remembering the last mode setting(ECO,COMFORT,SPORT,SPORT+).

I cant figure anything out but maybe one of the more expericened people can take a look in there. It would be awesome to finally be able to start my car and it already be in sport mode.

Hi Guys...

I've been out of the loop on the coding progress of late ... and have been trying to follow the numerous pages on the "changes" now affecting the e-sys platform.

Can someone kindly summarize what these "changes" are ... and what the next steps would be in the event that my car gets over-ridden at the dealer (all is welll now... but if I were to loose my "customized" settings and not be able to restore them, I would be pretty bummed). Would appreciate it. Thanks guys.

Basically all of your current CAFD files will need to be updated to 48.3 version. These files have a security check that makes the token everyone was using useless. Therefore you have to purchase a new token AND a patch for E-sys, delete all your current PZSDATA files and replace with the new 48.3 versions. You can contact shawnsheridan for a link to the files and contact info to buy a token and the patch. Cost is $65 or 50 euros

I dont have the auto fold mirrors so i dont know if it will work without this

It will likely be 48.3...unless it arrives with something even newer. It does no good to speculate.

flip the switch on the drivers door to the left like you would be adjusting the drivers side mirror. then put it in reverse!

Tried that, doesnt work. Thats why i thought i would need auto fold mirrors and if you dont have that it might be easy to code

You can code the degree of tilt though with ASP_BORDSTEINAUTOMATIK_DELTA if you do not care for the default angle.
