Ric's 2012 Alpine White 335i - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

So after 11 very long weeks my 335i is finally here and I picked it up on the way to work this morning so I cant really give a mini review or anything because not even my seats are setup right.

I would like to thank everyone on this forum for helping me through the past 11 weeks. Making my transition from VAG to BMW very smooth. See pics I took with my iPhone 4s this morning at the dealer.

315 miles, 5 days since delivery and the car is lowered with a few cosmetics.

I love the pic with the front view of the two cars.

They say that cars have "faces".

The BMW has this sly, sinister smile and furroughed brow.

The GTI looks wide eyed and frightened like the BMW is about to kick it's a$$ or something. The wheels of the BMW are even turned slightly towards the GTI like it's getting ready to strike.

Love the black grills.... Did you lease the car? I'm wondering how easy it is to swap the grills out, since mine is leased...

The black grills are from BMW so I am sure it should not be a problem. I ordered it with my car but its a dealer installed part so as the car arrived at the dealer it was installed immediately. I didn't even see the car with the original grills.

So, it looks like in Florida you keep your same license plates? That plate looks beat up on your beautiful new car. I'd want a new one...

So did the dealership gave you the original grills? Or it didn't come with it?

Well I called my CA and told him I want the original grills so when I took delivery i saw them in a box in the trunk.

First one ive seen delivered with the all black sport grills. looking good!

We did the lower wiskers black also. I think it just brings it all together.

BMW of Mississauga priced each grill at $90 + tax. So you're looking at $180 + tax for the complete M Performance Grill!

Are you allowed to lower a car that's on a lease? I guess you'll just have to remove all your mods before returning the car, correct?

What happens if you get the M Performance spoiler on a leased car?

I didn't lease but if you do any suspension mod then I would suggest changing it back to stock before returning it or if you run into any suspension issue. BMW I believe is coming out with lowering springs soon which the dealer can install for you but you going to $$$$$$$$$$.

As for the M grills I dont remember how much I paid since I bundled a few stuff but I got a pretty good deal. I paid $400 even for the grills, sport line hand brake, sport line carpet front and rear, installation included.
