Door-open warning - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Hi guys, anybody else noticed the problem with the door-open warning? It doesn't come on when you start it comes I about 20 seconds later when you're already moving!!!

Nice, sounds like a good feature to me. Dont you hate when you sitting in the car with the door open not going anywhere and that annoying sound keeps going off.

As opposed to having strapped your kids in, went into traffic, and then being told the rear passenger door was not closed completely ?

I havent taken delivery as yet but I am sure it must show you that a door is open on a display before the door ajar warning goes off.

Yup it's on the dash and on the HUD, pretty hard not to see this.. I, for one, am happy not to constantly hear a audible warning when I'm standing still and there is a door open.
