None to report yet. Order guide for the 2013s hasn't even been released yet.

SinceBMW can be methodical in how it releases and rolls out things, what should we expect for timing of the release of info or guides?

Everyone is working off the hints that xDrive and M Sport will be available for MY2013 and September production. We should see the official order guides by July (for September delivery), hopefully sooner.

Is it not true that BMW will even make changes during a model year? In July, the car will only have been released for 5 months...so I doubt there will be anything of significance yet.

I'd like to see them open up the upholstery/trim combinations a bit.

Info on MY2013 Models

I've been drooling over ordering a 335 xi since February and after sniffing around at web sites, CA's, etc. came up with the following: the MY2013 models (incl. the xDrives) go into actual production in July, with ED being scheduled to start by early Sept. If this is accurate, and I think it is, the Order Guide should appear sometime in May.....I hope, I hope!!

As can be seen on this information posted on teh forum some time ago BMW are changing the F30 to 2013 models From July 2012 for German built cars and from August 2012 for South African built cars ( 1 Month difference is because of the time it takes engines to reach SA from Germany)

This a bit different from what BMW has done in the past, but the F10 5 Series is also changing to a 2013 model from July

I hear gold plated shift knobs and fluorescent ground effects are in the works. We shall see.

The host of the "other" BMW site says that EDs for 2013 will start in July. Makes sense since the gap between production and delivery is more real time than it used to be.

I was at my dealer today trying to buy my car and telling him the options and he said since you are so specific about your options he said lets wait for a month and we will be able to order the MY 2013 will be available to order end of may. I said are u sure and he said yep.
So hopefully i will be ordering my 2013 in a month and get it here in august or september.

Questions is does BMW ever do any kind of promotions for ordering new car?

Hearing about the same from my CA. When you order, you get to lock in current deals (lease or finance) or opt to renegotiate based on deals available when the car is delivered if they are better. Things don't usually change drastically in the world of BMW lease residuals or finance rates, but you may get some extra "option credit" if they offer something like that.

But I think any deals may not apply to new model years... I think deals tend to occur when they are trying to move inventory (eg the 2012 model year when the 2013 start arriving on the lots)

2013 changes?

For those on these forums who KNOW, what are the changes for the 2013 3 series?
Option changes?
Option package changes?
Color inside/outside?

What about pricing? Typically it's been between $200-$300l.

We know the M-sport package will be available.
What will the package cost?
From what I've read the M-sport will be it's own "package", and will cost between $2500-$3500 on top of the "base" 3 series.
How true is that, how close or far off?

I'm sure others are waiting to know these thing as well as we are close to the July model year change over.
I need/want to know because I want to make a decision on whether to order a 2012 now so I'll have it in a couple months, or wait for the 2013 and wait until September for delivery.

A current order 2012 has had the fixes applied for the things that had issues in early 2012 builds, like the steering rack and squeaky dashboards.
The lease rates are very good for the 3 series, as residuals are still high as it's basically on a 4 month model year.

It seems as if I should just order a 2012 now and be done with it, and enjoy my new 3 during the summer.
But, I just can't help wondering what BMW will do for 2013.
Also, I'm very tempted to go M-sport, but the price has to be right for basically a cosmetics package.

We need REAL info, not guessing and speculation please, as I can give you that, as I have above.
