Congrats~! Looks like an awesome build... but had the same question as Chris?.. why pay extra for the 19"s only to take them off, but I like the BBS ones you ordered

Thanks everyone.

When I ordered my car, I wanted a Luxury Line but did not like the wheels. That's why I chose the 401's. During the wait for my car, you start thinking. I have always been a fan of BBS wheels, having had them on some of my previous BMW's. I also like the idea of the car being different. That's the reason I ended up ordering the BBS.

Thanks for the Pic Spikey, those are the wheels.

Dabaitu, great that your cars on the same ship. Wait almost over.

Amazing to think that these are built about 40km's from where I grew up, good quality cars out of Rosslyn.

Grats on the order and the spec mate, it looks very similar to mine. What colour brake calipers did you choose?

See you in 2013!

The M-Sport brakes come in a wide variety of colours, as long as you choose Blue.

It's the M-Performance brakes that you were thinking of.

OIC, that's right. They're just the stock calipers painted blue.

Depending on how the OEM brakes are I was thinking of the yellow M Performance set with the slotted and drilled rotors.

Actually there can be up to 3 different brakes for the F30
Stock - grey
M-Sport - blue
M-Performance - choice of red, yellow or orange

Cheers

hmmm ... all this talk about the m-sports/M Performance brakes... with the Aus M-sport package the m-sport break isn't part of it right?

Wondering if it's too late to add.... would blue look weird on AW though?

Funnily enough I was at my dealer this morning asking about adding reversing camera. He told me that all orders are firmed up during the calendar month before the build in order to have exactly the right number of components to make up the cars for that month.

If you do wish to change, it would quite possibly impact on the production date and set it back a month, possibly longer. Nonetheless, he was going to check, but questioned why I wanted a reverse camera in a low sitting sedan as opposed to an X5 or similar.

If it means delaying my car's build, I will not concern myself with the change.

I don't think that the blue brakes would look weird with white.

No, they are a ~$1400 option on top of the M-Sport Package
