Mineral White 328i Sport Delivered to Hawaii - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I finally picked up my Mineral White 328i today. After three long months! I had the Performance sports grille installed by dealer for free.

Loving the drive! Tested out the vibration problem and also auto start stop issues. No problems at all so far.

Looking great Michael! Congrats on the new car!!

My wife's going to be jealous, she recently told me she wants a white Sport Line one as well (however, with black interior, personally I think the red looks better) =)

lol you should drive down Nimitz and Ala Moana Blvd in the evening when they're doing that construction there. I never seen so many officers looking at my car before on one night without actually pulling me over

Sounds good, dunno yet what our plans are for the coming week but I'm sure we can do something =) Would be nice to finally see another F30 in the wild haha. What area do you live in btw?

Haha. I always drive on those streets. I live in Aiea. PM me your number so we can quickly meet one day when we are both free. I noticed you have a 2 year old daughter. I have a 2 year old son. They keep us busy. Hehe

lol no kidding.. Aiea? I come there almost daily to pick up my mail at the post office lol. I live in Waipahu but moving in a month or so to Mililani

Btw, there's a food truck event going on next Saturday (5/12) at Tony Autoplex (or whatever it's called lol, that dealership across Costco). Could be an idea to show off the cars there lol (plus gives me time to find a detailer to wash my car (can't do it myself since I just got a tat on my leg and don't want to infect it with the dirty water lol)).. I'll PM you my number in a sec =) (just don't call now lol, the wife sleeps and I'm about to go as well.. my daughter wakes me up way too early lately lol).

EDIT: I DONT like it how they stuck the Hawaii vignette on the back...
The dealership could have found a more cleaner spot to stick that sticker...
it might not be off, but it looks off from this angle...

The metal plate on Svache is .... i can't find the word...
but i always like how HI cars are recognizable by those vignettes!

Tell me about it, it's darn idiotic we have to have it exactly there. Some people have it next to their plate (I used to do this on our X5 and M3), which looks a LOT better but since it has to be at the right bottom of the car, most inspectors don't want to put it next to the plate, resulting in us having to take off the stickers ourselves (with the risk of ripping the sticker and having to go through another inspection) and placing them in the middle. I figured the plate under the bumper would be a better idea as this is allowed and at least doesn't touch the paint

You'd think that in this modern age of time, they would have a centralized computer system for both state and police access where they can simply run the plate number to see if it has a current safety (like the current system would work, you can simply steal a sticker from your neighbor and put it on your car and the cops would think you have a current safety inspection.. sigh..). But no, like with so many other things, they're running way behind the rest of the world :/

Yup I hate the safety check decal. I am just waiting for my mechanic to free up and relocate it right next to my plates.

Will do! Food is yummy here in Hawaii. I gained 10 lbs since i moved here 2 years ago.

I got the Aluminum/red stripe. I had the black dashboards before but they easily scratch up. Also, brushed aluminum is sporty for me.

I forgot to even complain about that. Haha. I love the car so much that it really didn't matter. Would've been a bonus if i had it though. I love the N20 power! I am trying to stay below 4000rpm.
