That's what I've heard, but hard to be certain.

There was a lot of speculation that his SUV driving off a cliff a few years back was intentional, and I didn't doubt it one bit. If anything good come out of this, maybe it will reinforce awareness that the aftereffects of a career in football can be seriously devastating. He has kids too.... Very sad.

Remember him tearing up the field at SC. Such a tragedy. Hopefully the helmets are better now and the concussion protocols.
