Congrats as well. The car taking the big trip over the pond would me make me a bit nervous. Are you keeping the German plates like that? Pretty cool.

May I ask what are those red strips on the side of the front bumper? Don't remember seeing them in showroom & catalogue!

You mean the reflectors? US spec car I guess.

Good look with the D800! Right now, I'd rather have a D800 than an F30 lol..the d800's are definitely harder to get your hands on LOL

Nikon D800. Full frame camera. Direct competitor to the Canon 5D. It's a fine piece of equipment.

Shame on me... i should have known... I guess i am satisfied with my Pentax K5... wont go to Full Frame for a few years from now.

Like Robin said, those are the reflectors. They are, however, orange colored but I'm guessing they look a bit red due to the darkness of the pictures
