BMW keys?

Hey I recently purchased a 335i with premium package and convenience package but I only got two remotes since the car has a start button and i can get in my car with just sliding my hand through the handle,my question is how do I lock the glove compartment I didn't get any keys?

You can press the black button on the key fob and pull out the key

There's a key that is imbedded with your remote that you should be able to slide out and use it to lock the glove compartment.

Your CA should have told you these basics i guess as soon as you sign the papers you are on your own.

Yea he didn't tell me many things, like I still don't know how to set up the memory seat setting.

All these neat bits are in the manual. It is even available for download and searchable. Very neat option.

Aren't they supposed to explain all of this during the delivery session?

Well, yeah, but in my case, it was clear I knew far more about the car than my CA did. I grabbed the keys and GTFO.

Sadly many CAs are not passionate about the cars they are selling, when I bought my last car (Subaru STi) I asked my CA a few questions about the car compared to previous generations. He had to go get the mechanic to answer the question, after the second question I asked that had him stumbled and forced him to get the mechanic, the mechanic ended up staying there along for the sale

Needless to say we went back to the dealership a few months later and my CA had been let go.

It is up to the customer. I find demonstrations, no matter how polished, painfully slow and annoying. I thus politely declined.

The manual is detailed and even has lots of pictures.

The whole term "Client Advisor" is ridiculous anyway. They are Sales Guys. Period. If anyone thinks otherwise they are kidding themselves.
