Found an Interesting Photo - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I thought Saddle Brown was offered only for the luxury line.

But this photo clearly shosw sports seats with the saddle brown color. Anybody have any insight?

probably non-US. the modern line has sport auto trans in other countries also. the options vary based on region.

I know in Europe you can buy Sport Seats as an option on any Line. It's a non-US model.

We can order sport seats or Sports suspension with any line.

But here you cannot get a manual 335i, even though we make them for many parts of the world.

I can order here in NL everything I want. All OEM BMW leather and colors available. Can also select any kind of stiching I want. All ordered directly through the dealer, original BMW leather etc.

I ordered nappa leather (much softer and smoother than dakota) with silver stiching. Yes it is retrofitted in NL and costs are comparable.

Why do we have so many limitations here in the USA when it comes to custimization? The biggest market for BMW (as a single country) yet so many limitations.

It will probably open up here in a few months. My assumption is that they limit it at first so they can worry about making sure everything goes smoothly in a controlled setup before they complicate things with a la carte options.
