Any plans for the summer? - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Hello everyone. As summer is coming just around the corner, what do you all have planned? I know some of you college students are getting done with exams pretty soon. Any vacation plans, trips, activities, etc?

As for me, I'm getting scoliosis spinal surgery on the during the last week of May. Unfortunately I'll be out most of the summer. I'll mostly be staying in bed and taking physical therapy class.

I might take a session off from my MBA program and go to Puerto Vallarta and maybe (I'm hoping) Europe. Other than that it's just work and the same old things.

Shooting competitions
Trip somewhere with the wife (Napa, Vegas, NYC, not sure yet)
Being irritated by my kids

Likely the last one more than the first three

I didn't like vallarta, too tourist-centered (went in Feb). Even most of the mexicans you'll see there aren't locals, too artificial-feeling for my taste.

I've heard good things about acapulco but haven't been there myself.

Maui in early June for 2 weeks and the rest of the summer just chillin around home base. Beach, SCUBA, fishing, some shows at the Jones Beach Ampitheatre and Yankee games(here and beantown)!

I'll be going to London and Italy with my parents for a couple of weeks. And then Maui for 10 days. My parents are members of the Grand Wailea Resort there, so I've basically been going my whole life.

Also will be working over the summer. Probably part time for my dad's business management firm and part time for one of my Godfather's companies (hopefully the one that does editing for all the blockbuster movie trailers).

And of course, I'll be enjoying my BMW and hopefully getting in some track lessons and driving courses to help me tame the beast!

I was planning to take a trip out to L.A. and San Diego in June, but I got screwed over by my school and have to take a summer course in June instead of graduating in May. My trip is being pushed to the end of summer now.

Summer classes from June to July...not sure what else I'll be doing this summer. Probably work at the pharmacy with my dad. I need January to come around sooner..going to study abroad in Europe for 5 months then!

Those look pretty intense but fun! I miss shooting too much.

As for my summer plans, I'm reviving last summers detailing business, hopefully I'll be able to continue it year round now.

My yearly family vacation to Seaside, FL is in less than a month and I'll be going to the lake with friends a lot.

Chicago this weekend, Vegas next weekend. Mazatlan the week the kid gets out of school. Supposed to carry the wife's luggage when she goes to Turkey or Indonesia for work, but no dates on those yet.
