How much are those m sports brakes?

It will make it impossible to fit smaller wheels on it like most people usually do in winter situations, in case you live where it snows in winter. Don't know if it will allow for 17 inch, perhaps even 18 is the smallest. Anyone knows? Otherwise I think 16 inch is possible on all F30's, even those with msport.

I wish I would have got the MSport brakes. the stock ones seem like downgrades from the E90 and they are way to soft. My E90 brakes were phenomenal.

Ok, where I live there's no snow, so 18" all the time. The standard brakes are 330mm discs at front, the M-sport 370mm.
Wht I also concern is the unsprung weight, are M-sport lighter or heavier than stock items?

Are they light weight, i.e. aluminum carriers? If so that will somewhat affect the acceleration and handling of the car, in a positive way. On my Vette, you can cut almost 50lbs of unsprung weight by switching to lightweight carriers, and another 20lbs by switching to non-runflats. Thats like knocking 250lbs of sprung weight off the car with regards to acceleration, braking and turning.

really it depends...on the 328i - I'd say it's def. worth it...for me...but I won't be getting a 328i. I'm getting a 335i, and it's probably not worth it, however I still plan on getting them. (I like em, and that's good enough for me)

Definitely! Regardless what Elk says, I'm sure they will be a huge improvement over stock brakes in every way possible.

They should not feel soft, bleed them. If they still feel soft there is a problem of some sort.

You can easily swap in more aggressive pads if you want more initial bite.

No diff, they're identical but for the colour. At least for EU-spec.

I'm not arguing, just giving addiitional info as presumably EU-spec cars will have a better starting point than US-spec cars. That assumes the bigger standard discs makes a noticeable difference.

I'm in almost the same driving situation as you: just for everyday driving, commuting, and I don't track. Ever had some sweet looking cross-drilled rotors before? Really nice wheels? Really cool LED lights? In my experience, it's all a waste of money because the cool factor fades away just after a few months.

The one time I went for big brake upgrade (so I can stop harder at those last-second red lights LOL), I spent over $1000 on larger cross-drilled rotors, bigger calipers, better pads. Guess what it got me? Lots of attention... in a bad way!!! CONSTANT and LOUD embarrassing squeaky brakes. Waste of money, and didn't have the money to go back to stock brakes.

Same goes with buying nice wheels. They just made me constantly stress about keeping them clean, rash-free, and dent-free. More trouble than it's worth.

Same goes with sports suspension. The lower stance made my ride look so sweet, and I was loving it for a few months. But then I became more and more aware of the unforgiving harsh ride I had to endure on the shitty roads of my commute.

I have tried several performance upgrades, each just once or twice, and it seems like every time, I just wished I had just saved my money instead. I'd rather have spent the money on a nicer car.*

*The only exception is a chip. Ohhh definitely worth every penny.

I understand ur point. The only thing is I sometimes drive "briskly" when traffic allows, on hilly twisting roads.
There will bo no mods done to the car, everything is factory ordered.

The stock brakes are more than capable to handle this.
