Picked Up from the Performance Center - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I went yesterday to the Performance Center and took delivery there. I honestly can't see why anyone who is within driving distance of Greer, SC wouldn't do this. I had a blast and could not be happier with my experience. BMW really goes out of their way to make sure you have fun and that you don't have to worry about ANYTHING. I've attached one picture. Hope to add more soon. I've had it for about 24 hours now and I couldn't possibly be any more pleased with this car.

BMW has done it again!

Nice ride! Performance center delivery is very cool (did it with my wife's Z4 a few years ago)... Of course we need more pics!

you get some quality time with your car doing things you barely can in the streets.. all that under the adviceful eyes of BMW

Thanks! How much time and what kind of "things" are you talking about? I'd imagine you wouldn't want to push it too hard during the break-in period...

They don't put you in your car, but a car that is the same as yours. Or in my case, a 335i sport

Your actual car sits safely in a room until the end when you take delivery and drive home.

Hey guys, thanks for the well wishes, I'm loving the car. Working a double today, so will try to get pictures up when I get home. I will say one thing, however, people are loving the Mineral Grey. Every person that sees the car for the first time mentions how awesome the color is first. If you have this color on order, get excited

Performance center is tons of fun, ive been down twice now for driving events and it cannot be beaten. A friend picked up his S65 e93 and drove it back to NY so anyone can do it if they want to even if you're not local!

The Zentrum is great to visit too, enjoy

When my wife and I did the Performance Center delivery, they picked us up from the airport in a BMW, brought us to Marriott (which BMW pays for). Gave us voucher for a nice dinner in the hotel, and then even brought us to downtown Greenville..

Next day you get a condensed version of BMW driving school and a factory tour etc. If you go to youtube and search for BMW performance driving school, I imagine you would find some videos. They even had a race car driver take us in an M5 and drift!'

Then at the end there is your car ready to go in their showroom. The mountain roads around there are awesome (search for "tail of the dragon"). The only bummer for you is that it would be a lot of mileage back to CA.. In our case we were taking the car only about 600 miles back to FL...

Don't forget that they also give you free drinks with dinner

and even pay for the tip!! The M5 lap was UNREAL. It was freaking awesome. If you can, get Donnie. He took us around and really tore it up. NO WORDS.

Extended cluster on a non-nav 328i.... I am really wishing to see mine that way on May 5th when i take delivery...

We have almost the same specs on our cars too....
