Just be careful. I was told of you total the car then you lose your security. Can anyone confirm this to be the case?

It's a security deposit, which is different than a cap cost reduction. Which is why most people will tell you never to put money down on a BMW lease, use MSDs instead. This is because of how the included GAP insurance views the account. Security Deposit is as it is named, a deposit. It is fully refundable. Be careful that when the lease numbers are done that the security deposit is entered in "Refundable Security Deposit:" on the paperwork and NOT on the "Capatilized Cost Reduction:"
Cap Cost - lost if totalled, the GAP pays what is owed. MSDs - not lost if totalled, the GAP pays what is owed. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...3&postcount=14 http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...03&postcount=5

I can't believe the money you guys pay for these cars, maybe because it's a new model, and you guys get your cars from the dealer. Leasing companies is the way to go since they get a "fleet rate" . In the end you have a contract with BMW financial and go to dealer for service same as you would if you got car from the dealer. I have an e90 335i and my lease is up in 6 months. I pay 540$ a month with NYS taxes included for a fully loaded 335i sport, and I'm expecting to pay the same if I hop into another 335i , or even considering a 328 if my payments will be about 420$ a month taxes included. And 0$ money down

My brother went through a leasing company (same one i used) and he configured an m sport 335i e92 white on red, waited for it to get built and sent in, and pays id say at MOST 620$ with NYS taxes included. I have not looked into the f30 328i / 335i quotes yet, but I would have to assume that after this model has been out for about a year or two, the prices off leasing will go down dramatically to what me and my brother are paying. Think about it... I'm paying 540 a month for my 335i and your paying 200$ more a month, does that seem right ? Also my msrp is 51,000, and I got the 2010 model. The $200 newer model is a high premium IMO Last edited by infinitigor; 05-09-2012 at 01:09 PM. |

infinitigor, why dont you go to your leasing company and get a quote for a fully loaded F30 335i, and then come back here.
you said it yourself, waiting a year or two and F30s will get down to your prices, and yet you dont understand that a newly released car commands a premium over a seven year old model. |
