No models have been denied or confirmed by BMW yet. What's likely is that North America will receive the F31 328i model. As for the 335i N55 model or a diesel model, that remains to be seen.
BMW surprised some when they recently introduced the X1 335i at the NYIAS, so I couldn't count out the F31 335i for NA just yet.

"Are we possibly looking at the first indication of a 328i xDrive with manual transmission? When we previously interviewed BMW on which F30/F31 xDrive models would receive a manual transmission, all we were told was that there would be at least one xDrive model with manual transmission. So, *if* this particular F31 is a 328i xDrive model (the front suspension appears to sit a bit higher?), then it would appear that the 328i may be one of the xDrive models to receive a manual transmission option."
While this is all well and good, I am 99% sure we won't be getting the n55. Hence NO LOVE for all the performance-oriented wagon loving dads out there. The 6mt is not that important to me, esp cause the new 8at sports auto is darn good. The engine, h/w is very impt.

Somehow I don't think we will see this in the US, and I used to own a 2000 MY 328 Touring.

I can't guarantee anything about an awesome ED thread... but there will be a thread soon, hopefully early next week... otherwise the F31 is Track worthy, it wont have the crazy power of the CTS-V, but having caught it in Nurburg: ![]() another beautiful: ![]() hopefully it will be making it across to our shores...

Is it just me or is the x-drive model in these photographs is not sitting any higher than your normal 328? Is it possible they finally normalized the ride height? Maybe a sport suspension option for us x-drive guys may finally come into existence? If so...
