After six M cars, making the switch to an AMG.... - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Guys and gals, it brings me great sadness to say after six BMW M cars, I am making the switch to a C63. Nobody is a bigger fan of BMW than me so it makes me sad to go. My father just leased a 2012 E63 last week. Literally all it took was one push of the start button to hear that amazing intoxicating engine sound. Put a deposit on a matte black C63. I will be taking delivery of it this Friday. In the meantime here are a couple of teaser pics:

grats...i would consider it an upgrade for sure. The e92m3 feels dated in every way. Cant wait for the new m3/4 tho

i disagree. i think the mercs are attempting to be blocky and angular a la aventador or gtr but didnt get it right and it looks jerky or ill fit. the m3 is beautiful and flows.

Congrats on the switch. That C63 Coupe 1st Edition Coupe (Matt Black for the Coupe and Matte Silver for the Sedan) was the very last car I sold while I was with Mercedes-Benz. It's one hell of a car. I had to make the guy's significant other love the the car during the test drive. Pulled the car to the front where they were waiting and revved it. A huge smile on her face. I knew they were taking it home that day. I'm still in touch with them as they're fanatics so I'm sure you'll be happy with it. I have pics if requested.

EDIT: What dealer did you go to? Sovereign?

I've only seen a handful of C63's and their usually parked but some dude at school had one and it does sound amazing! Congrats!

I'll disagree with with the outdated look of the E92. I could see it looking good well after the F3x coupe is released. The Merc doesn't look bad but I have this hate towards cars that look blocky, Mercedes, Cadillacs, Lamborghini. I'll probably get flamed but it makes it look lazy like all they did was use a ruler to design the cars.

sweet engine but cant get past the looks. The C63 coupe totally looks like a honda accord coupe from the side.

well it definitely doesnt feel dated. s65 still one of the best engines out there. you will see a lot of s65s in other vehicles if their price ever comes down.

Beautiful. A friend has a C63 sedan and that car is a BEAST! I love both brands, but with what I was looking for, the 335is outperforms the top of the line C350 coupe by way too much to even consider it(other than the AMG model of course).

My dad might be getting a CLS63 soon. Can't wait for that! Such an awesome car.

Congrats, I heard another M156 for the first time from the outside of my car... Intoxicating. Might be my next car if I can rationalize the horrible MPG for daily driving.
