I went to the BMW drive team usa event today and ran into my CA. So I asked him how long do you think it will take for me to get my car. He said well your car get to brunswick on 05/02 so 5 to 7 days after.

Look like my car is going to miss cinco de mayo this year

Is it true that you can get $1,000 off from the Drive Team USA Event? I could sign up for the one on May 3rd to get the incentive towards my F30 when it arrives.

Also, that sucks. I got my E92 on May 5 so I was hoping to do the same for the F30!

it says only on new orders but im going to try anyway. wait for that code to be emailed next week and give my CA. its $1000 I have to try!

UPDATE!

BMW Financial said that as of this morning the $1,000 incentive needs to be used on a car on the dealer's lot. My CA told me if they have a car that I like I can swap, get the $1k towards it, and I wouldn't have to pay for any additional options the car has since I have a contract price. Interesting!

So I called my dealership and the rep. I spoke to said that my car was scheduled for arrival in Brunswick for 4/26 o.O I asked if he had the name of the ship but he didn't have that info.

That definitely doesn't match the Florida Highway's schedule, but it matches the Bishu Highway which left Georgia yesterday and is already only over 2 hours from Charleston.

Alex mine was updated to "Finishing Touches" today as well!!! Do you know if your ship docked in South Carolina? We were most likely on the same ship if it did!

P.S. What dealership did you go to in S. Florida?

When I called yesterday, I was told that It was scheduled to be received in the port of Brunswick, GA on the 26th. The Bishu Highway unloaded there on the 27th, and then arrived in Charleston, SC yesterday. So I'm guessing that it was your ship as well.

I ordered my car through Braman BMW of Palm Beach.

Haha, we'll see. Looks like yours has a bit further to travel than mine. I don't know why our cars were offloaded in different places if the destination is the same. Then again, I don't work in global car transportation and logistics, so I wouldn't know.

Who knows I was either on the Bishu Highway or Santa Paola... both ended up in Charleston, SC. on the 27th. I'm sure that our cars will end up on the same carrier since they are going to the same dealership.

I would say from now on the best updates will be from your CA. Your CA will have detail tracking info on your car to even what truck its on.
