Finally, after waiting 17(!!!) days at the port, my car is currently on a boat. Granted, I haven't checked since Thursday so it could have been a few days less than that but crap!

I'm thinking I have to be one of the firsts with a 335i from SA and definitely one of the first MWs to be sent over since production in MW started the day mine was produced.

May I ask how you found out you where on a boat? And also, if you know the schedule of the next one to set sail?

This news is a little disheartening to me simply because I was scheduled to be completed with production on the 17th, and would hope that my car doesn't wait a whole month at the port just to get shipped out.. I've heard bad things about shipping from SA

I'm moving from Alpine White on my E90 to Mineral White on my F30... Lame, I know.

The only other color I like is the red and the estoril blue.

I have a feeling the mineral white (although I've never seen it in person) is going to be very reminiscent of Lambo Balloon White so I'm very excited.

I called the BMW hotline and gave the last 6 of my vin... Number is 1-800-831-1117 and it's the second option.

Plus, my CA called me on Wednesday to tell me that my car had been sitting at port for an excessive amount of time.

I don't know how it is handled but I would think my car would ship to the east coast rather than west coast from a purely logistics standpoint. We probably aren't on the same boat but I guess it is possible.
