Sports Line (Package) with Dakota Saddle Leather? - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Hello,

Is it possible to order the M-sport package (sports line) and choose a different interior color besides what is offered in the bmwusa configurator? I really want saddle leather! Is this something that can be ordered by the dealer?

Sadly with these new lines you're stuck with the colour combos. I wanted Saddle Brown too so ended up getting the luxury line.

You might be able to order different options using BMW Individual, but you're going to be looking at $3K plus for that.

What? You spend $50K for a car and expect to be able to configure it with whatever options you want??

You're in the same dilemma that a few of us share. Saddle is a really nice interior, and we could order it with the sport package in the E90. These lines are quite limiting, and I really don't want to go beige in mine. I want saddle, or a special order for grey. There are rumors floating that MY13 will introduce a few new colors and possibly loosen the limits on interior colors. This may be why the ordering guide is being held back, as the car has been completed for a while now.

I agree, it's a real bummer. The tan interiors BMW uses on way too many cars (that, for some reason, are all stocked on dealer lots) are hideous to my eyes.. so black ends up being the only option.

Sucks that you have to go Luxury line to get a remotely unique interior color.
