Also thanx for sharing. Very nice. But I don't see any sideways action at all not a blink of oversteer. Just more or less understeering into the bend (which is normal at first)

They use manual or autoboxes for this?

Looks like they are on the Rat Race skid pad. Seems like they are just seeing what the limits are. Doesn't look nearly as much fun as it was in the M6!!

I'm curious, do the previous Performance Center vehicles get sold as used cars, or do they have to be crushed afterwards? I imagine some people or the instructors themselves would love to pick up the 1M's once their Performance Center duty has been fulfilled.

Majority of those vehicles used at the PC are sent to auction at the end of their mileage period and sold as used vehicles.

Was at the PC last week and saw these cars. Had an amazing day at the Ultimate BMW Experience. It was great being there and I highly recommend a visit.

It looks like lessons in understeer. Too bad the 335i does not have an LSD as an option, then some nice progressive oversteer could be explored.

Am I the only person who thinks the LTBMW front bumper looks like a snow-plow?

was at the pc last dec... when we did the skid pad we went first without DSC on and did 360's... then tried to do the 360's with DSC turned on... just wouldn't happen... it would be fun to see that comparsion of these cars... i just can't wait to see how they do the coupe versions of these cars... whether they are extensions of the 3 family or branch into a 4 family... only time will tell... nice video, thanks for sharing :-)
