Yes, it's the BMW remote app.
No F30 yet but I installed on touch 2G and can see this screen.

yeh its from the my bmw remote app in demo mode. I dont have my car yet thats why I was asking.

I have that app on my iPhone and BMW Apps, and that option is not available for my F30. Maybe it is something available only on other models?

You need BMW Assist at minimum.
It communicates with the car via the cellular connection provided by the Assist combox and data subscription. Assist comes with 4-years of service, after that, it costs $199/yr.

It may be in demo mode but it's not actually a feature available yet. Hope they add it soon, and a few more!

one feature i wish they had on the HUD is to show turn signals. with my music up and the way my steering wheel and seat are i can't hear or see it. would be a nice feature.

I always notice them on in the door mirrors in my peripheral vision, really like the way the door mirror lights wrap around so you can do this.

I have it on my F30. All appeared after I had registered the Assist online. Nice feature

are you non-US? I'm registered with BMW assist but that feature does not show up on BMW remote. I'll try to re download to see if that does anything.

Yup, UK sorry, though all the videos I saw on YouTube of the features where stateside

I assume you have set the app up to 'pair' with the car and have to enter a security code as you enter the app? You have to enter your user details and vin code etc of the car in the app before it will pair with your BMW Assist account

I realize this is in the manual, but for those that never read it here goes.

If you hold down the unlock button on the remote, it rolls down your windows until you let go. No way to roll them back up unless you have CA, in which case you can hold your finger on the ridged part of the handle to do this. They really need to allow the remote to roll the windows up.

Except if it suddenly starts raining you have to run out and close it up manually. No remote closure.

Do you have variable sport steering, sports suspension or sport auto? Sport+ comes with any of these I believe.

For EU it does, hold the lock button, works for me. It folds my mirrors too. No remote closure for USA states only (if I remember correctly )

Mine line-less car has Sport+ too, got Variable Sport Steering.
