Is this true?
I read in someones video description on YouTube who did an acceleration test of the 328i (that was not run in!!) that during the run-in procedure (before 1200mls), the car restricts itself to 160kw of power as the maximum available, not the full 180kw. This can't be true can it? I have read the owners manual for it and can see no mention of the power being restricted pre-run in.

That would be cool, especially if the extra power suddenly came on tap as you were flooring it through the 1200 mile barrier!
