I'm betting it's just a Santander PR stunt, nobody is going to close London for three days (and the days to prepare) for this to happen.

Valid point, the covering up of 800 manholes, removal of traffic lights and islands etc would be massive disruption!

Another Bright side item for the possible London GP.

If it did go through, maybe there would be enough interest to get F1 back on the BBC full time again. Bring back Brundle and Kravitz, and have our ace commentary.

Maria de Villota in a horrible accident today while aero testing. Apparently she slipped the clutch while still in gear and it shot her forward into the tailgate of their trailer which was lowered right at helmet level. Glad to hear she's at least conscious now.
