^ I think a Lotus win is inevtiable, they have great pace and Kimi is a beast behind the wheel. I must say though, Grosjean is no slouch either

I bet Pirelli could make more money selling F1 tires to fans than shredding and burning them. I would imagine they would have to slice the side walls or something so they weren't unuseable as tires. They could even sell them at the race - cash and carry. If you want to be real clever you put them on ebay by team. Would you like to bid on one of Ferrari's tires? No problem, but that will cost you more than one from HRT. Comes complete with letter from Pirelli with the serial number authetification. Of course Bernie would want his peice of the action.

I find it hard to believe that Hamilton would leave for either Ferrari or Red Bull. The former simply haven't shown consistent form in the past few years, and have a more traditional #1 - #2 driver strategy. The latter is effectively "Vettel's team", and it would block Red Bull from promoting any of their own very capable young drivers (Vergne, Ricciardo, etc.). However, Mercedes is a distinct possibility. Nico Rosberg is not an assertive, domineering driver like Vettel or Alonso, so he would be a good match for Hamilton. The only question mark is Mercedes' long term viability (will they stay in the sport or not?). |
