F30 kidney grille inserts - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I'm looking to swap out the chrome kidney shaped inserts and place black chrome (like the exhaust) in its place. Anyone have an idea add to where I should start looking to complete this small mod?

I was thinking about the same mod. But I thought I'd simply ask my dealer to get me my F30 with blacked-out kidney grills. I'm sure you can do the same?

It'll look better if you order the car from the dealer with this mod done by them.

i just ordered a set from my dealer. $62 for each side. funny they sell by the side though... what are the chances anyone is going to buy one side and not the other..

If you damage one side you are not going to want to have to by both

Part numbers have been out since beginning of March for many items. So if there is stock they can sell them.

Some Other M Performance part numbers are not out yet.

Do you think they have to remove the whole bumper to get in there?

Believe it or not, the whole bumper for an Audi Q5 must be removed in order to replace the grill inserts.

Not sure what they will do. Based on one vendor, they said it is possible to not remove the bumper. But also advices its easier if taken off.
