And they are about to debut in the US. They only delayed the launch of the X1 into that market place because they didn't want to adversely affect the sales of the new X3. Very nice F30! More pictures please!!

I think BMW is also very skeptical of demand in North America for small luxury branded hatchbacks, crossovers and SUVs. Thats why we've never seen the 1 series hatch here.

Canada is very small car friendly and I think the positive reaction in Canada has given BMW confidence to launch the X1 in the US.

I'll get more pics in soon, thanks for being patient :-) So one major thing on my first few days with it is stalled the engine twice with start-stop already! I think start-stop & colder climates do not mix. It's around 8-9 C (46.4 - 48.2 F) here and I'm seeing a pattern with those two stalls, they were both on:

1. First engine stop after cold engine start

2. At a long stop light ~2-4 mins with the engine stopped.

First time it was rather embarrassing! Asked my CA about it and basically told me to not use start-stop until the weather gets warmer.

Anyway, still love it! She's beautiful AND has character :-)
