What do you mean each deposit is worth $250?

My lease payments are around $680 per month, so my security deposit will be $7000 and this will get my interest rate down to 4%.

So instead of putting down $7000, if I were to put this amount down towards my security deposit, will it really help me lower my monthly payments?

I like the part where we get the deposit back but I don't see it helping much in reducing my monthly payments. I think I'm missing something?

Thanks for the clarification though...

What's this $750 discount? Can I get this discount too? I placed an order for a 328i couple weeks ago.

It's a $1,000 try for the whole amount. $750 from BMW Canada and $250 from dealer so some dealers who already gave us discounts are refusing to give the $250 portion of it.

I have created a new thread to track missing features in Canadian spec F30s if anyone is interested. Based on a suggestion by Wild M.

So I had a meeting with my dealer today and we discussed options on upgrading to a 335i instead. I still want to wait for pricing for the X Drive and M Sport options.

My question is: does anyone know why we don't get the 19" wheel options on the 328i sport line? Why is it only available on the 335i?

I don't like the 18" and really want the 20" or at least the 19" wheels.

Also anyone have a rough idea of how much extra would the X Drive be? I'm sick of changing the tires on my current 335i every winter and summer so thinking that I'd go for the X Drive and enjoy ONE set of wheels either 19" or 20" throughout the year...

I have the 19 inch wheels on my new 335i. They look ok, but if I were to do it again, I'd probably do what I did with my Z4M (see my garage). I bought BBS LMRs. BBS has a lot of different styles to choose from.

Do you know a good place to get BBS rims? At a good price? I like the LM-R's too...

Well, first start by checking out the prices on tirerack.com, I bought the wheels and a set of PS2s 2 years ago from GTA Wheels and Auto at 1065 Matheson Blvd E here in Mississauga. They gave me a good price, similar to tirerack.com. I think that might be gtatires.ca. However, now I see a site wheelandtirezone.com that claims to have moved to that address. However, when I drove past it the other day, it has yet a different name. So, I'm not sure what to think.

So can anyone confirm the 19" rims are only available as an option on the 335i? Not available on the 328i?

Let's not get into this debate again... xdrive will not stop you faster in winter. Massive 19 or 20 inch all seasons will be a nightmare in the snow. All season rubber gets brittle below 7 deg celcius, and larger, wider tires float on top of snow. You won't the first time you need to make an emergency stop in winter (even on cold dry roads).

You're buying an expensive car. Spend the extra and get a good set of winters on rims. The swap is quick and easy. I have mine stored at the tire place and just stop in for an hour once a season. It also has the side effect of having your summer rubber lasting longer.

Good point regarding the rubber of all season tires during temperatures that go below 7 degrees...I heard about that before too...

Now that the pricing is out, does anyone have pricing info on the X Drive and M Sport models for us Canadian buyers?

The X Drive seems to be an increase of roughly $4000 over the base 328i, should we expect more for the Canadian 328i? And what about the M Sport package for the 328i???

Does it really matter what rims you buy if you're putting winter tires on them? I mean, I'd keep the OEM rims for my all season/summer tires and have a less expensive set I don't worry about for the winter tires...

A question for Canadian drivers, does the price of a non-xdrive model change when the xdrive comes out? What's the price in Canada compared to the US like since we know US pricing now.

I'm just trying to figure out if the 2013 will be cheaper, more expensive or the same as 2012.

We dont have 2013 pricing yet but based on what we know about Canadian dealers bending us over, 2013 prices will increase. I don't think it has anything to do with xdrive, more to do with some bullshit expectation that we'll pay more because another year has passed.

Does anyone know if Canada will get the 320d? If so, when? It's not clear to me...
