i was in 112 - daily production pack when i ordered on 2/18

not sure why there is such a delay, must be how your CA explained to you. ive ordered 2 other bmws and theyve never taken 3 weeks to go from 112 to 150. wasnt sure if it was because the options i chose or what

EDIT: i take that back, i just looked at my order sheet on 2/18 and it was 111 - order accepted. when i changed to 19" wheels on 3/2 it shows 112 status on the build sheet. so it happened sometime between 2/18-3/2. although im fairly certain it was pretty soon after 2/18 because ive been calling the toll free line for status nearly every day after the first few days i ordered and the message has been pretty much the same.

I ordered on Jan 25th, production started on 2/06. Not too bad. i think the usual is two weeks. it all depends on their allocation. if they have no slots available you will have to wait for the next open slot which could be the following month. ie: the dealerships have 1 allocation per month on the 335i so is someone already snatched March's or it was already in production you would have to wait until April.

If I wait till the late fall or winter and buy a 2011 demo, I can do that but it might not be worth it after all the BS taxes and fees they charge us to bring the car over.

BMW USA will not sell new vehicles to Canadians...it's such crap.

Anyway. I can't wait to see your car because it's an identical setup to what I am looking at ordering...AW sportline with black seats/red stitching and the piano black trim. The dealership where I live has a black 335i as their tester with all the interior options I wanted....loved it. When i roder, it'll be my first BMW as well.

I was thinking about the same until I found this 'possible' solution. I will wait out with getting a new phone until I know for sure this works or not with Apps in the F30. If it doesn't work, I'll probably go for the iPhone5 (probably has 4G) instead but... kinda hope I don't have to as I love Android

LOL, I did actually see your POST and I considered it but then I thought it was too much hassle just for that. So I simplified things and got the iPhone, there isn't as much freedom like on android but I will work with it just for my car.

lol I have to agree with you on that one. Seeing I already set it up and everything, I will give it a shot but, indeed, if it proves to be too much hassle besides this, I might as well make the switch as well. I completely understand what you're saying

I think you and I are the only Android advocates on the entire site. But like you I will consider migrating to an iPhone if the advantages are great enough. I'm eligible for a phone upgrade in November, so that's plenty of time to test the waters.

lol that's ok.. I have an ipad (well, I got it out of curiosity but gave it to my wife since.. well, the restrictions compared to the Android system totally turned me off pretty fast) and it doesn't seem to work without flaws on that either

Haha I know, only if the advantages are great enough because using that phone is a major turn off to me lol. I also have to keep it secret to people I know IRL because they will not know what they hear if I use an iPhone all of a sudden lol (and I will not hear the end of it either haha).

I have one plan ending today (well, it's a regular phone, no dataplan or anything, just an old Nokia, I needed 2 phonenumbers at the time and it was no extra charge under a family plan) and the other (my Android) ends in September but I might buy it off sooner if I really want to make the switch

Yeah, I have the same kind of option. Early upgrade for me is a $30 penalty for every early month.

lol I wish I would get my car in a week, it's more like 3 weeks haha. It's currently waiting to enter the Panama Canal and it takes about 9 days until it arrives in CA, from there it will take a few days until it goes to Hawaii, which is another 4-5 days, I expect it to be here somewhere in the first week of April
