F30 Door Handle Lights - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Hi there,

Sorry if its a newbie question though...but does the new bmw F30 come with door handle lights like its previous generation the E90 Facelift? Bec. all the ones I saw didnt find any..

Kindly if any one confirms this.

Yes you can have door handle lights if you choose Lights package.

There is no Lights Package in Canada... therefore I assume its standard here?

My Canadian F30 has the door handle lights, not sure if came with it because of the premium package but I don't recall selecting a specific option for it.

Standard in the UK. Well, on the "Line" cars anyway, couldn't be 100% if the SE has it. Think so though. Yeah, it must do! It's the poverty spec (ES) I'm not sure of.

This is correct. In the UK extended lighting (incl ambient lighting) comes as part of the 'lines' but is an optional extra on base spec cars.

It is standard on all US models. Not sure about Canada as you guys seem to get a bum deal on the F30 spec.

But, then again, you guys have Bryan Adams, Wayne Gretzky and Robin Sparkles so all is good in the universe!

Lighting package comes standard for aussie models too but not sure about the door handle lights.

Lights package, incl. LED rear interior light and reading lights, LED front reading lights, LED vanity mirror lighting for driver and front passenger, ambience lighting, ambience light for door upholstery inserts, centre stack storage compartment and centre console storage compartment, footwell lights with ambience light at front, handle-area lighting in the door handles, exit lights in the doors and LED luggage compartment light

It is standard for Aus too.

Funny that I never saw anything about these on the online config tool or mentioned when I ordered my 328. Oh well it's not a big deal for me anyway but might have to check some out at the dealership again as I won't receive mine until June.
