European Delivery begins in 3... 2... 1... NOW!!! I'm all packed up and about to head for the airport. Can hardly believe the time has finally come!

Here is what I'm taking delivery of:

• 2012 335i Sedan (F30) Sport Line with Sport Auto trans and Adaptive M Suspension
• Mineral Grey Metallic with Black leather interior and brushed alluminum trim with black highlight stripe
• Cold Weather Package, Driver Assistance Package, Parking Package, Premium Package, Premium Sound Package, Technology Package, BMW Assist and Apps, Speed Limit Info

Itinerary:

• Feb 28 - depart DFW
• Feb 29 - arrive London Heathrow, depart for Munich, arrive Munich at 12:30pm. Sightseeing in Munich rest of day. (Staying at the Hotel Bristol Munich)
• Mar 1 - 9:00am check-in at Welt, 10:30am vehicle delivery (I'm almost certain I will be the first ED of an F30!), 11:30am factory tour, BMW museum after the tour
• Mar 2 - Drive to Neuschwanstein Castle and tour. Other random wandering. Meet fellow Bimmerpost member "Entropic Artist" for a beer and/or dinner. (He is taking ED of an almost identical car to mine on March 2!)
• Mar 3 though morning of Mar 5 - TBD - going to play it by ear - thinking about Alpine Road or Castle Road or Romantic Road or some combo of those 3.
• Mar 5 - turn car in at LoginOut at Munich airport at 4:00pm
• Mar 6 - return home - MUC/LHR/DFW

I'll be posting updates and photos to this thread throughout the trip, so stay tuned

I'll be in EU Mar 5-10 but further east - will actually be very near to overflying MUC at the time of your turn in.

I see only one negative aspect on this trip of yours John: you being a Texan; it will be impossible to find a cold bottle of Lone Star in Munich !

Hey SJID! Here is my Itinerary

March 1st - Depart from Atlanta to Munich
March 2nd - Arrive in Munich on March 2nd early morning. Pick up the car in the morning. Factory tour from 11:30-1pm. Tour the Museum, mess around with the car functions, head back to the Hotel at 6pm. Meet SJID there and go for a dinner/beer at Haufbrauhous (?) - that beer hall place in Munich.
March 3rd - Head down on Alpenstrasse all the way to Zurich or even Geneva. Depends on the amount of beer we have the previous night.
March 4th-March8th: Unplanned, probably going to drive all the way to Cote De Azure area - Monaco, Nice, Marseille and drive to Andorra mountains in Spain.
March 9th - Drive back to Nice, France and drop the car off.
March 10th - Fly back to the motherland.
March 10th-mid April - Painfully drive my legendary Honda Accord with a broken bumper, broken rear door and crumbling engine.

I will have a 35mm film Nikon FM3a (mostly using Velvia & Neopan 400), Nikon D7000 DSLR, and a GoPro Hero2 Video Cam. Hopefully, that would be plenty of good quality car pr0n for you

I will have two DSLR for my April ED:
- Canon 450 XSi
- Pentax K5
- GoPro Hero
