Ahoy! My F30 is currently waiting in cold Munich for a ride up to Bremerhaven to catch a 25 day voyage to Port Hueneme, California before arriving in sunny Arizona! Who else is headed to the West Coast on March 10th? -- The Asian King is the next ship out of Germany to the West Coast, departing March 10 and stopping at some local European shipyards before heading to the new land.

Is it wrong to wish for the Tortugas instead of the Asian King for my car? Tortugas is a majestic lady while the Asian King is tired and rusty.

after about 30 seconds of the trance music i think i saw my car on the top deck? it looked like a bunch of sailors were sitting on the hood drinking German beers.

LOL... this is extreme (slow) boat watching, and i thought we were bad for checking on our car's order

i cant' believe there are people out there just watching those boats and taping them too..

I guess that's why they start hearing mermaids' voice calling...

You might be surprised to learn that it is as much as a hobby for a lot of people as plane watching is =)

today our ASIAN KING was in Port Livorno, Italy. The Port of Livorno is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea in the northwestern part of Tuscany. The Port of Livorno has one RoRo terminal with a total length of 1,741 m, a land area of 477,060 m2, storage capacity of 6,000 cars and a transshipment capacity of 1,200,000 units per year. There were Lambroghinis, Ferraris, Masaratis loaded on the ASIAN KING on their way to the Fatherland to trade for BMWs and Porsches (ok i got carried away with the last sentence).

We are approaching the port of Sagunto. This port has an annual traffic capacity of 10% of the entire port of Valencia – the largest port in Spain. that's actually very likely lol, especially since I return my x5 before the lease is up lol


So far we're having a 20 hour delay in Southampton.. seems to be some pirates :S
