Rut Roh missing pieces on the front air dam
Test drove a 335i sport and a 328i sport back to back. Great cars. Much more driver focused than my current F10. Pictures don't do this car justice, you have to go test drive the cars and see them for yourself. Both the cars had missing pieces in the front air dam. I pointed them out to the sales people there and they all agreed that something did not look right. After looking at press photos looks like they need some quality control over in Munich.

yes, but the other side (driverside) had the cover on it and the passengers side did not. Looks sloppy. (on both cars)

Nothing wrong
Those pieces change depending on region and specs The ones you posted are correct for USA Sport Line In Europe other options are needed for the additional water cooler

I can certainly concede that this my be the way it's supposed to be but I don't think it looks correct. I would suggest to those who haven't seen the car in person to go to their dealer and take a look at it. There are two pieces of unequal metal exposed down there and it looks quite unfinished and lacks symmetry. I think some type of grate should have been used to allow for airflow but conceal the oil cooler.

The euro models have a cover with round holes to "hide" the cooler, but just like on the M Sport where they deleted the foglights BMW USA wanted more cooling potential because USA cars are far more likely to be used on a track and in the rest of the world where insurance doesnt allow it. This picture shows the cover with the holes that was also tested in the USA during development

N20 328i has a extra watercooler with sportline in the USA
N54 335i has a extra oil cooler on all lines So both should have the same look in the USA
