2012 F30 335i Engine and Exhaust Sounds + Manual Transmission in Action

Our coverage from the US Press Drives of the all-new F30 3 series continues. While Jason is likely just flogging the new F30 around the race track here's a first video showing the engine and exhaust sounds of the N55-equipped F30 335i. The car was fully warmed up when this video was taken. It's also our first opportunity to review the manual transmission in the F30, and this video gives a first look at the throws on the manual transmission.

There is the review... didn't have to wait long :P

the transmission shift action seems loose no?? seems a bit easy to go from gate to gate...
i would expect a bit more tightness, being a brand new car...

you can hear the turbo whining at all RPM,
but the exhaust is my favorite... my E36 328i sounds abit the same after a hot run

:P

Can't wait again for mine 335i

I don't like the position of the the cup holders. When in use, it seems like it will get in the way of driving.

I just noticed the fog lights on the red 335i you were revving at the beggining; are we to assume that it's the euro spec without the extra cooler?Just curious, thanks!

Fog lights are deleted on US spec M-Sport to enhance cooling.
This is Sport Line, so fogs are US spec.
