All depends whether the big blue brakes are included or optional. If not, $4k range. If so, $6k+

My guess is that they want to keep the option around $4K - $4.5K, and if that means that the brakes are not included, they would be sold as a separate option. I don't think that BMW NA wants the price going above that mark for the M-Sport package. Just my $.02.

exactly - theyre not gonna change anything drastically from what theyve done in the past ... if brakes r extra, then theyre extra. personally, i care more about the suspension and what it costs to get the M performance susp.

Sadly the driving factor for me purchasing the M sport is the nose....It's the only one I can live with. (The M sport will never compare performance wise to my "performance car" so why bother)....but since I'm getting the M sport I might as well get the fancy brakes, suspension.

I totally agree. The regular front end just looks bad, IMO.

Wow.

I actually favor the standard front end, yet love the M Sport rear over the standard.

I like everything about the M Sport better, including the steering wheel. I also love the Estoril blue! I only wish BMW would offer the alcantara interior in the US.

+1. M Sport is where it's at, but I'm going to have a hard time giving up the alcantara seats in my A4 S Line.

I agree w/ this as well....after looking @ the M sport I like everything about it more...but the thing that made me want it originally was the nose. ( too would love Alcantara)

My wife is of the same impression. When we first saw the F30 she said "I'll take an older one then, that's ugly". Then I showed her the shots of the M sport F 30, and she said "That's my favorite, I want that one"....so as you see, this scientific data shows M sport=win. LOL

Of course due to this I must blame the M sport for me not being able to get my 335d of my dreams oh well.

thanks south - but the suspension on the Msport model will just be the same available for sport (whether its included standard or not) correct? there is no special suspension tweaks that come from the factory?

in other words, if the car looks like a 4x4 the only OEM option is M performance ...

EDIT - just bringing this thread back to the top for discussion, im bored at work ha

From looking at the M Performance Brochure, the M Performance Susp. lowers the M Sport a further 10mm. So 20mm total from the stock susp. Thats if I am readin it right.

That is the way I understand it also. I hope we are right! Something tells me 10mm will be the most BMW lowers it with or without M Sport. Maybe M Performance suspension will lower it even more.
