Spotted: Possible F30 in Beverly Hills

I saw the new M5 driving the other day and behind it was what looked like an F30. It was a bit shorter than the M5 and had camo on the roundels. They were both heading towards the new Beverly Hills BMW location.

Yep. Check out the turn signals on the rear view mirrors. Also the rear diffuser, lower lights or reflectors on the rear, the hoodline and the front reflectors. It can be hard to tell as the exterior revisions other than the hood and from end are subtle changes.

It is a F30!

and what seems to be either a base model or a modern line... (could not be a sport, nor lux).

and in front of it is an X5, not M5... unless there is a third car in front...?

Good to see that the F30 will not shock anyone ...

It's a Sport Line. The black strip on the rear bumper along with the shadowline trim around the windows are dead giveaways.

Modern line = satin strip
Luxury line = chrome strip
Sport line = black strip
No line = no strip

The wheels, though - who knows. That wheel is not on the current ordering guide, so it's probably either an additional wheel option or it's replacing an already-announced package wheel.

Garage List
I just noticed that it has two different wheels, both of which are on the UK configurator.

For sure it's not Luxury Line,
it could be Sport Line, except for the "Holy Batman" Wheel Gap...

I thought Sport Line would have a Sport Suspension with a few millimeters lowered down...

... which doesn't seem here... that's why i said modern or base...
but you could be right too

Wow, nice catch... I missed that. Likely explanation then is that they just threw on some wheels temporarily for whatever reason.

I'll bet they got a flat but, unlike the average 3 Series driver, were fortunate enough
to have access to a full size spare.

The new M5 was in front of the X5 and made the light, we got stuck at the red.

Why is there any confusion what this is. It's clearly an F30 sedan. Just compare it to the hundreds of f30 pics already posted here.

This is no GT. Search the homepage for f30 GT pics and you'll see it's nothing like this.

Agreed, but it's definitely a F30. Take a look at the windows with the 'kink.' They are wider than the outgoing E90. A good thing, too.
