You can hear the exhaust sound of the new N20 in this video. Exhaust sound starts from 1:35 and also from 9:45. I like the exhaust sound until he opens the hood. Do you guys like the exhaust sound?

I drove the z4 28i and its hard to tell...i think they have some kind of sport exhaust, but the N20 in the Z4 reminded me of my N54 in my 335....and the Z4 weighs the same as the new F30 328

Exhaust note sounds great for a 4 banger!

I really like it -- as long as the longevity/reliability are there, I think there's a lot of upside to the N20. Thanks for posting this video!

I think a Remus upgrade will make it just perfect.

Definitely not the same as the N20 I had in my X1 test drive, which was more Civic-like.

It was true with the N52 as well. Great sound with the 330i but blah in the 328i.

There is a good possibility that BMW will release a Performance Exhaust. However the typical high price narrows down the gap with a 335i so there is no point.

I think it will even sound better with bmw performance parts or some other aftermarket exhaust system.

Sounds pretty good, a little whiney at the top end, but overall, not bad.

Kind of hard to tell, as it doesn't have coolant or oil temp and the EGR pump is running, which will make the low end sound louder.

Oops, longevity seems to be lacking though!! Not much upside remaining...
