Does anyone know why the side view mirror covers are red in the second set of photos in this thread, and black in all of the other photos? Is there an option for black mirror covers?

my understanding is US models will have all black side mirrors on the sport line.

I'm struggling to decide whether i will be able to live with this colour. I think the photos don't present it correctly. I would appreciate some remarks from people who saw it live, especially compared to white (i'm hesitating about mineral white actually).

I currently drive a 320d coupe 2008 in misano red, this is a flat non metallic red. I've ordered a f30 in Melbourne red and seen it irl at my local dealer. The Melbourne red is interesting in that it look a dark deep red in low light and bordering on the orange in bright sunshine. I love it, and only 4 weeks to go before delivery
