Visual Comparison: BMW F30 3 Series and M Sport vs. Audi A4 and S4 Facelift

Audi has just pulled the wraps off its facelifted A4 and S4 models (B8). This calls for another photo comparison thread comparing the 2012 3 series sedan against the 2012 A4/S4. Both the F30 and the facelifted A/S4 will hit showroom floors next spring.

What's seen below is a comparison of the F30 M Sport against the Audi S4 facelift, followed by a Sport Line F30 versus the standard A4 facelift. Color us biased, but visually, neither the A4 nor the S4 have anything on the F30 models.

not feeling the A4/S4 facelift... audi's interior looks way dated next to the 3er but audi is older here so. 3er is more aggressive

Agree, both are bland but for me the Audi shades it.

the headlights on the Side profile of the A/S4 look to small and way to low

Actually laughing? Like full in hysterics and rolling on the floor? Good work. I do that when I see any Audi. They are miserable. Perhaps apart from the r8, but that's even rubbish.

The front end of the BMW is aggressive. The Audi looks god but much softer.

I don't like the way Audis drive at all... but I am starting to like their exterior styling more and more. Clean lines, especially around the hood.

But I'm not a fan of any of these new BMW designs, unfortunately... :P Sucks to be me, I guess.

For me, Audi's have always looked lazy and boring to me. They just don't have the lines like BMW/Mercedes do. As for the interior, only the instrument cluster and display look decent, the rest looks ugly and very VW-like. Audi's for the most part haven't changed much when compared to BMW and Mercedes which is why they'll always be a distant number 3 to me.

the audi does a good job making the F30 look remarkable. when compared the BMW wins hands down. the audi rides too high and looks a little smaller.

Ive owned both BMW and Audi..

Overall i was happier with my Audi :P (if i am not focusing on just performance) idk why everyone talks smack about them here... but i guess its the same on the Audi forums, haha. I found the interior on the Audis much more comfortable.

The red audi is the S4, the silver one isn't. :P

Looks like the the Audi facelife made the design simplier, simple elegance. Not sure if that's a good thing though but will have to see it live to decide. The F30 looks busier and confirms for me and a much better design than the Bangle E90. The M-Sport version especially looks better, IMO.
