They give you a lot more access to different settings, which gives you a wider range to work with than just some filters.
Here are a couple pics of my new design, based on the MotoGP Safety Car for the BMW 1M. I built this from scratch, and it took a few hours. Its missing some manufacturer sticker because they just don't exist. Anyway, let me know how I did! Nice job catching the flames on that R8!
Few more of mine. I paused a race right in the middle to catch the glowing brakes, just to find out I also snagged exhaust flame as well! graphics are pretty awesome in this game but the cars look like they are made of plastic. I dont know if its just me but it doesnt look like they have a metal feel to them. I never liked the brake glow on Forza too, it looks like its over the top.
Ill give this game one thing though, the graphics have come a long way since forza 3. They took a lot of time to add the details to the game. Wish i had an xbox to give this game a go and compare it to gt5.

Took a few last night. I'm really liking the 1M in this game. If you can be smooth with the throttle, it starts to feel very balanced. It reminded me a lot of the M5 from the demo how you can use the throttle to rotate the car around the corners without drifting it. It feels strangely rewarding when you get it down, and the car just keeps accelerating while following the arc of the turn with minimal steering input.

I know, I know.. I'm boring
 always using the LMP cars...Still testing & fine tuning the car for the endurance racing next month. The test: Passing slower (R3) traffic on full simulation / professional AI The tune: Still tuning the downforce properly.

My ALMS 1M GT
This is my take on an ALMS 1M GT if it existed. I started with current 2011 BMW Team Paint scheme and then decided the real ones sucked
and I could do better so I went with it. ;O the final product. Just finished this weekend. lots o hours. man I wish I could see an autovista version of this.
