No toolbox, runflat concerns, and non factory amplifiers
hi, would very much appreciate if the lovely people in the forum would help me with these Qs.
thanks 1. Am I supposed to get a whole set of tools like wrench, tyre nut removers, and other tools which comes with most Japanese cars, because I did not get any. The dealer said because I had runflats BMW didn't send any tools, is it true? Or did he trick me. 2. Can I replace runflats with regular non-bmw tyres? Given that they are the same size and specs? will it mess up the pressure sensors? 3. Can I add kenwood amplifiers to power a sub and two speakers, taking connections from the battery and the preouts from the factory amp? Picture of the space above the battery(no tools??) Thanks AR |

My X1, which also has runflats, came with a wallet with the towing hook (I think) which is in your photo, a reversible philips/flathead screwdriver and the key for the locking wheel nut on the rims.
I'm sorry I can't help with your other questions. Last edited by danintas; 10-04-2011 at 05:28 AM. Reason: typo |
