Hi everybody from Spain . I don´t know if it's been said already, but the press launch will take place next month in Barcelona (Spain).

And I like the F30 so far, but after almost twenty years driving in-line six BMWs, I'm not sure if I would like the new turbo engines

Bye, adiós.

I see that the straight line across the bonnet (hood) is getting a lot of negative comments. I believe that this is not design led but more a measure to meet safety standards.

I think you will find it on more and more cars going forward and certainly on most, if not all BMW's.

I LOVE IT!!!! I really do, Love it!! espacially, the car with the M-sport pack. It just looks so damn good!!!

Not sure if everyone knew but if you wanted to download the HD 1080i videos of the F30 to your PC they are available on the BMW website. It allows you to see all the details of the vehicle up close as if you were there in person. Amazing video quality.

To get each video you have to click on the picture then go back to the top where it says HD to the right side and click download, each time you click one of the picture it changes the download video at the top right. Each video is about 500 to 900 MB each, but they are really worth watching in this quality just to see the details in true HD. There are 9 videos in HD

https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/press...ocNo=PF0003216

The exterior is starting to grow on me more, what I noticed in the HD videos that I didn't notice before was how the trademark crease line running on the side of the car flows directly into the taillights, it seems even more evident on the new F30 than before, I have always loved that.

I have to be honest that I'm NOT a fan of the exterior.

I see the front end is not so proportional with the rest of the car.

Looking close at it, it does look aggressive because of the shape of the headlights.

However, if you look at it from distance, the car looks like an SUV because the headlights & grilles are too low to the ground, while the roof is a bit tall, giving me the impression that the car looks very tall, i.e. looking like an SUV.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. Also, the headlights are too squinty (on the opposite of 135 bulging headlights), which upsets the same balance you were talking about.

I am so disappointed in the disjointed design of the interior... the exterior is ok... this design flaw will totally drive up the resale value of the E9X... the new 3 series looks like vw had a kid with a BMW... wtf... oh well... I will just have to get the 6 series m-sport coupe

LED\'s?

This has probably been discussed already, however I have not seen it. Will the new 3 come with LED tails or will that be an LCI update?

Agree 1000% on the LED lighting.

The sport steering wheel is another thing they throw into the base models on the LCI. The heck with em, I will wait till the LCI!!!

BMW's marketing group needs an LCI!

Sport line comes with 225/45 front and rear? I hope not.

take a closer look at the tire sizing- it has to be all messed up 225/45 18 on sport/modern, but 225/50 18 on luxury? and then only 225/40 front on msport? doesn't add up.

y is that messed up? seems right to me ...

what doesnt seem right is that neither the sport nor m-sport offer staggered wheels. totally jacked up if u ask me.

its messed up because 225/40 18 does not equal 225/45 18, the msport has smaller tires (in pure diameter) all around, doesn't make sense. the msport is staggered, 255/35 18 rear from what i saw

I hope the sport package/sport line comes with 18 and 225/40 front with 255/35 rear.

There is a mistake concerning the MSport wheels which are 19" and 18" and not 18" and 17".
