Tuck is good, don't get me wrong, I partied with him a handful of times at ND when he was there and one of my friends from home was dating Victor Abiamiri (split time with Tuck at DE). Super nice guy, big as hell too, but he won't be nearly as effective without O.U. on the other side, especially in preseason when he probably just wants to stay healthy for the start of the year.

Plus I don't see them repeating last seasons sack fest, preseason or not. We aren't the same team up front as last year and the O-line will be playing tonight's game like it's the Super Bowl to lock in some roster spots.

Dude the preseason is serious business. Just ask the Raiders and 49ers.

Preseason performance is sometimes reflective of the depth on the team, but for the most part I think preseason is garbage. Just more chance for your guys to get hurt.

And any time anyone wants to talk shit about a preseason game, it usually helps to inform them that the worst regular season team in NFL history was also 4-0 and preseason champs that same year. YMMV

I won't lie, yeah of course I want the bears to win and the score was a touch on the embarrassing side but I know the Gmen have a soild squad so whatever, the game doesn't count. Come regular season though don't think anyone will be blowing us out in that fashion.

See at least I recognize the fact that our teams are eerily similar. We both have extremely good defenses year after year. But we have had a string of borderline retarded QBs who manage to fuck up games that our defenses have won for us.

Sound right?

Of course it is preseason.. Of course this game doesn't mean shit. But even fans need the preaseason to practice shit talking before the real games start.
