It is very rare, Valencia is just north of LA.

Valencia oranges come from Orange County CA but they're named after the city of Valencia in Spain (no, I didn't know this, i just looked it up)

it snowed in HONG KONG as well..

we are located very near the equator .. last time it happened was 650 years ago.

Jet stream patterns are dipping further south than normal. It happens every so often. Combine that with a little bit of moisture and you get snow. No great disaster is looming. Just a matter of inevitability.

December 18th, 2009 it snowed in Hong Kong... that was about a year ago. Where the hell did you get those numbers from?
