We previously posted spy photos of the F30's interior which was a dummy interior from the 1-series, but the F30 mules have now been fitted with production form interiors. Visible now is the steering wheel, entire driver console - including tach and speedometer, as well as parts of the center console and interior door. Exterior-wise, the same camouflage remains as in previous F30 sightings.
Compared to the E90 3-series, the F30 will feature a longer wheelbase, but shorter shorter overhangs, for a sporty squat look. It will also have wider and lower kidney grilles. Engine options will include a full range of turbo and naturally aspirated 6-cylinder motors, 4-cylinder motors, and possibly even a new 3-cylinder motor. The F30 335i will again be powered by a turbo 6 cylinder motor. The F30 3-series sedan will make its world public debut at the 2012 Geneva Autoshow in March of 2012. The F32 coupe will be unveiled a year later in 2013. Follow our complete F30/F32 coverage at: http://www.bimmerpost.com/?s=+f30 * And no, those are not the real tailights or in any way a representation of the real tailight shape or form!

Steering wheel looks identical to the new X3
I really hope all 3 series will have audio/nav screen like the X3 does, regardless of whether they have nav or not

I really hate that center storage space. Wish BMW wouldnt do that, makes it look cheap.

No that'll be somewhere on the center console where the iDrive and shifter are. That button is to turn off auto start-stop.

Actually, after a closer read of the blurb, I'm pretty sure the only production bit is the dials and gauges - that central console is clearly from the 1 Series parts bin and not for the F30 - look at those airvents - it definitely says mule to me. Still, the dials look nice - and perhaps BMW is leaving the trademark red/orange illumination behind - the digital readouts definitely look white-on-black to me.

That should be the efficient dynamics on/off button; when the car is stopped the engine turns off, when you hit the gas pedal it fires back up.

Didn't look like they will be going back to the center window controls. Bummer.

Interesting... obviously moving towards the current 5/7er series dashboard. Not a big fan of the centre console... but agreed that it could still be in mule form because of the makeshift switches at the base... will find out soon enough I'm sure!

I really hope that center bin is not the production style, and still the 1-series parts we're looking at, like what one member already suggested. The shape of the center stack is starting to look too much like a entry-level-japanese-car-interior like.
