Philips and Hella even sell LED retrofit kits in ever German super market! lol 130 euros for a pair/kit.
lol have you seen the f10 and e70 lci's angel eyes? they are as bright if not brighter than eg audi's ledstrips and they look twice as nice at the least.

I hope bmw doesn't go ledstrip, ever. They don't need them at all to look cool and have a trademark going on

From my point of view the LED should be banned for all cars because it's not confortable to the eyes when you look at them while driving and it's definitly uggly!

Everybody's clowning Audi for the LED's, I actually like theirs. These look just like the ones on Porsches and Mercs though, boring.

Dont take these drawings so literally. They are usually used to demonstrate design cues.

Way to follow all the other german auto makers with the led strips....BMW needs to stay unique with just the angel (corona rings) eyes.

As others have already said I really hate the cut line on leading edge of the hood. I've seen it in person and hated it on the 5 & 7. I'm pretty sure it's not going to look any better on the 3.

I've heard it's to meet pedestrian crash test standards but, amazingly enough M-B and Audi both have figured out how to meet them without making their cars look like a Dodge K car in the process. WTF BMW?

I wish BMW stole some design cues from Audi (not just the LEDs). New Audis look fantastic. BMWs are getting mighty ugly.
